Dementia Awareness Community Event

Join us on Wednesday 18 May to learn more about dementia, the support available and find out what’s happening throughout Dementia Awareness/Action Week.

16th – 22nd May is Dementia Action/Awareness Week – a week that unites individuals, workplaces and the wider community to take action and improve the lives of people living with dementia.

Recent findings have indicated that people with dementia have been the worst hit by the pandemic, accounting for 25% of all UK coronavirus-related deaths.

To help raise awareness of the support that’s available locally, North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Dementia Steering Group are proud to be working with Affinity Outlet Staffordshire to help make local communities a more inclusive place to live for people affected by dementia.

Join us on Wednesday 18 May from 10am to 3pm to learn more about dementia, the support available and find out what’s happening throughout Dementia Awareness/Action Week. The event will be held at our Centre. Find us in the atrium; just by the escalators.
